BABL AI is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Max Rizzuto as the newest AI Auditor on its growing team. Rizzuto, a fourth-year Data Science and Philosophy student at Northeastern University, brings a strong background in responsible computing and AI ethics, reinforcing BABL AI’s mission to ensure the accountability and transparency of algorithmic systems.  

Throughout their academic career, Rizzuto has been deeply engaged in AI ethics and socially motivated computing. They currently serve as the student lead of Northeastern’s AI and Data Ethics working group, where they have been actively preparing comments for California’s Anti-Discrimination in AI law. They previously worked as a Values in CS Curricular Design Assistant at Northeastern, collaborating with faculty to integrate ethics education into the university’s computer science curriculum.  

In addition to their academic and research work, Rizzuto has hands-on experience in data operations from their time as an intern at MIT Solve, an initiative connecting startups with resources to address global challenges. There, they leveraged Python and Salesforce expertise to enhance organizational efficiency. With four years of experience as a teaching assistant in both Data Science and Philosophy, Rizzuto has honed their ability to bridge technical knowledge with ethical considerations.
