About Our Subprocessors

Where BABL AI acts as a processor of personal data on behalf of a client, we may engage third-party providers to assist us in providing the relevant services. Where those providers process personal data on our behalf in connection with that client processing, they may act as subprocessors.

BABL AI remains responsible for managing subprocessors in accordance with applicable data protection law and our contractual commitments.

We assess third-party providers based on factors relevant to the services they provide, which may include security, privacy, confidentiality, reliability, data location, contractual protections, and regulatory requirements.

Appropriate data protection and confidentiality obligations are incorporated into our arrangements with providers where required.

Where required by the applicable client agreement, BABL AI provides notice of material changes to subprocessors and any applicable opportunity to object.

International Data Transfers

Some of BABL AI’s service providers operate globally and may process or permit access to personal data from countries outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.

Where international transfers of personal data are subject to UK or EU data protection law, BABL AI uses an appropriate transfer mechanism where required. Depending on the circumstances, this may include adequacy regulations or decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or other legally recognized safeguards.

We assess transfer requirements in light of the relevant provider, processing activity and applicable law.

Client Engagements

The providers relevant to a particular client engagement depend on the nature and scope of that engagement.

Where BABL AI acts as a processor, the applicable Data Processing Agreement or other contractual documentation may identify the subprocessors authorised for that processing. Not every provider listed on this page necessarily processes personal data relating to every client or engagement.

Where a client engagement requires additional or different providers, BABL AI will address those providers in accordance with the applicable contractual and data protection requirements.
