BABL AI is proud to announce that Shea Brown, CEO and pioneering algorithmic auditor, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of ForHumanity. Elected by his peers, the ForHumanity Fellows, Brown joins the Board to advance ForHumanity’s mission of analyzing and mitigating the risks associated with AI, Algorithmic, and Autonomous (AAA) systems.
ForHumanity, a leading organization in AI risk mitigation, engages in the independent audit of AI systems to ensure ethical and transparent technology practices. Brown, an original member of the ForHumanity Fellows, was chosen based on his exceptional contributions to responsible AI and his ongoing dedication to independent AI auditing. Since founding BABL AI in 2018, Brown has become one of the world’s first algorithmic auditors, leading efforts in ethical AI and transparency. His role as a founding member of the International Association of Algorithmic Auditors (IAAA) compliments ForHumanity’s mission and reflects his commitment to supporting AI systems that uphold the highest standards of accountability.
Brown’s appointment follows the departure of two ForHumanity Board members, Adam Leon Smith and Iva Gumnishka, who contributed invaluable insights in strategy, standards, governance, and funding. Their efforts helped shape ForHumanity’s growth, setting a foundation for continued progress under new leadership.
