UPDATE – FEBRUARY 2026:

Since Dr. Shea Brown’s participation in the 10th Annual Global Insurance Symposium, conversations around AI governance in the insurance sector have continued to accelerate, reflecting many of the themes discussed during the panel. Industry dialogue has increasingly shifted from theoretical discussions about AI ethics toward practical implementation of governance, risk management, and regulatory readiness frameworks. Insurers are now placing greater emphasis on explainability, fairness testing, and documentation requirements as AI tools expand across underwriting, claims processing, and customer-facing systems.

The symposium panel’s focus on balancing innovation with accountability has proven especially timely as regulators in multiple jurisdictions continue developing guidance for AI use in insurance. Organizations across the industry are exploring how to operationalize responsible AI practices while maintaining efficiency gains and competitive advantages. As a result, independent auditing, model testing, and governance oversight have become central topics in ongoing industry events and compliance discussions.

BABL AI’s continued engagement in insurance-focused forums reflects the growing demand for independent expertise in AI risk management and compliance. Industry leaders are increasingly seeking practical pathways to deploy AI responsibly while aligning with evolving expectations around transparency, bias mitigation, and consumer protection. The discussions initiated at the Global Insurance Symposium remain highly relevant as insurers work to integrate AI into core business processes without compromising trust or regulatory alignment.
