BABL AI is proud to announce that Jeffery Recker, Co-Founder and COO of BABL AI, recently facilitated a session on “Introduction to AI Ethics: An Overview of AI Bias and AI Risk Mitigation” at the AI Ethics Summer School. The program, organized by the Pan-Africa Center for AI Ethics, offered participants a hands-on opportunity to learn from Recker’s expertise. It also allowed them to explore how ethical principles can shape the future of artificial intelligence.

Exploring AI Ethics and Risk Mitigation

During the session, Recker introduced participants to core topics in AI Ethics, AI Bias, and AI Risk Mitigation. He stressed the growing need to integrate ethical reflection into every stage of AI design and deployment. Drawing on his diverse background, Recker combined technical insight with creative problem-solving. As a result, attendees gained a fresh and practical understanding of how to build responsible AI systems. He reminded participants that ethical AI development requires more than compliance. It demands empathy, transparency, and collaboration across every layer of innovation.

Fostering Global Dialogue on Responsible AI

Recker continues to be a leading voice in the AI ethics community. He bridges the gap between technology and human-centered design, helping professionals align innovation with ethical intent. His participation in the Pan-Africa Center’s event demonstrates BABL AI’s ongoing global commitment to advancing responsible AI through education and collaboration. The Summer School gathered researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across Africa. Together, they shared insights, compared national challenges, and built networks for future cooperation in AI governance. Moreover, the event reflected a growing movement toward inclusive and ethical innovation. BABL AI remains deeply involved in supporting that vision worldwide.
