BABL AI is pleased to announce the addition of Ayşegül Güzel to its team as an AI Auditor. With a rich background in data science, AI ethics, and community-driven innovation, Ayşegül brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to BABL AI’s mission of advancing responsible and transparent AI governance.  

Ayşegül is a consultant, researcher, trainer, and social entrepreneur with deep expertise in bridging the social and technical dimensions of AI. She has worked with data science teams in the financial sector, conducted AI evaluation research as a fellow at Humane Intelligence, and delivered training on responsible AI practices. Her career is marked by a strong commitment to ethical AI, bias detection, and the social impact of technology.  

“I have been a bias detector all my life,” said Güzel. “With my data science skills and work in AI auditing, I can show people that algorithms are not neutral—they can reinforce systemic biases with real human consequences.”  

A recognized thought leader in alternative economies and social impact, Ayşegül has led hundreds of gatherings, hackathons, and innovation events to foster collaboration between the technology and social sectors. She has been featured in press interviews, published articles, and TED Talks on ethical technology and inclusive innovation.  

Ayşegül’s connection to BABL AI began through her participation in the AI Audit Certification Program, where she became deeply engaged with BABL AI’s sociotechnical approach to AI governance. “I appreciate BABL AI’s integrity and the care they put into their work,” she said. “I look forward to adding value to the AI ecosystem while learning from each experience.”
