Owned entirely by PIF, HUMAIN will operate across the entire AI value chain, offering products, services, and tools that span data center development, AI infrastructure, cloud computing, and advanced AI models. The company’s portfolio will also include one of the world’s most powerful multimodal Arabic large language models (LLMs), designed to enhance regional digital capabilities and expand global access to Arabic-language AI technologies.
“HUMAIN is about empowering humanity through AI,” Prince Mohammed said in the official announcement, “and placing Saudi Arabia at the forefront of the global digital economy.”
The company is central to Saudi Arabia’s strategy to become a competitive international hub for artificial intelligence. According to the 2024 Global AI Index, the Kingdom currently ranks first globally for its government AI strategy.
HUMAIN will streamline existing PIF-backed data center initiatives, source high-performance hardware, and accelerate AI adoption across strategic sectors such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and finance. The company will also invest in local innovation, support intellectual property creation, and attract top AI talent from around the world.
